Cool Why does grass grow quicker when you're broke

I have a garden, not a large one but it is slowly becoming a jungle - I am not opposed to this but I think the neighbours might get upset about the cast of The Lion King which look like they could jump out of the TV and fit straight in

I don't have a lawn mower (I do have a whipper snipper) and I really can't afford to pay someone right now, but it's getting down right embarrassing and I feel so ashamed every time I pull up!

What are my options? Is there anywhere you can hire a lawn mower for an afternoon? How would I even get it home?? And if I can find one how do I do it?

    TIA

CQ, have you got any mates that might lend you one? If you ask real nice, they might even offer to mow it for you in exchange for a coupla beers? Just a thought

I think you can hire lawn mowers from some petrol stations too- I'm sure I've seen them at our local BP. They kind of fold down so I think they fit in your boot.
