Grrr to gardening tools, why is it so hard?

DF is getting a bit behind with all of our gardening at the moment, so i thought i would pull out the whipper snipper and tidy things up a bit for him. I have just spent the last 20 mins trying to get the stupid thing started and have given up! Grrrrr... Why is it so complicated? I thought you just pulled the cord and off you went, but there are 12 steps to get the thing going and i can't work out which lever is which and i am sure one of them is actually missing!

I could google it, but by the time i have worked it out DS will probably be awake and i won't be able to use it

Least your DF puts things away, mine leaves everything out and it all gets rusted.

Woohoo! I went back and gave it another go and got it started!

Only to go about 5m and realise that i had lost the line on the end that actually cuts things... Ooops, hope thats not hard to replace.

Kazbah, that would any me soooo much! DF puts things back in his shed, but just dumps it all in on top of each other so it is a complete stye in there. I think he must be waiting for me to go and clean up after him!
