    Organic fertiliser and bug repellent?

I just put in a vegie garden today. We live in the tropics so Im not entirely sure what bugs we could get that could possibly destroy our efforts. Thing is Ive done it all organic (soil, seddlings etc) and Id prefer to keep it that way. So how can I keep organic but still fertilise and get rid of the bugs????

You could use garlic as bug repellant. Plant it inbetween your plants or use it as spray.
Coffe ground are also good for a fertiliser, Starbucks used to give it away for free.
Epsom salt mixed with water is another good fertiliser.
My Mum and I have tried it spray the roses with milk for black spot.
Check out gardening australia type this into google and it should be your first pick ...home made bug spray for plants.
They are using all sorts like vinegar, bicarb soda and dishwashing liquid.
