Help in avenues re Co Parentinghi

we're keen to commence the journey to be mums and feel strongly about having a dad/s in the child's life ie not just a donor! given we'd like a 'known' donor we cant do the clinic thing but are not sure how to go about advertising or meeting prospective gay dad/s.

any suggestions?

We used an unknown donor so not really much help but you could start by chatting to some people on Pink Sofa, and Lesbian Parents Australia yahoo group (google them)?

I have a friend who's a donor dad - he has his son one night a week and his mums have him the other 6 nights, and it's a really warm and encompassing family, with so much love.
I'll ask him how he got into it.

that would be really nice if you could do that- if i can understand the dad's side a bit better perhaps I can figure out how to find one that wants to co parent as opposed to just donating
