I can get it off my chest! Yay!!!
We have a known doner.. My partners bestie of 20 years. He will be in the child's life. 3 parents are better than 2...
Want the nittie gritty?
He would drive up after work and use the spare room. Use the cup, load the syringe then knock on the bedroom door and pass it to my partner who would inseminate me.
So we're using OPK's which are Fab and super easy.
Today is Thurs 3/12/09. We "did it" Friday night, Sunday night, Tuesday night, Wed night and Thursday morning.
Well my OPK's said I ovulated Wed morning, so from all our hard work, i think we're covered...
Now it's down to the 2 weeks wait!

I didn't find the whole process yucky or whatever. It was more that after doing it 5 times in quick succession it was getting a bit robotic so I guess next time we will try to make it feel as natural as possible....

I am QUEEN of research, my partner calls me so if anyone needs info, I'm sure I can help..

How long has it taken all of you to get pregnant? If at all? How many attempts.?

My partner and I have had 3 unsuccessful IUI's and are on a brake from TTC at the moment. (Although I still seem to spent alot of time on here..lol- its addictive)

Keep us updated, hopefully you'll be announcing a pregnancy soon...

Hey girls! Wishing you lots of luck and hope this 2WW goes quickly for you! It's is really hard playing the waiting game.
My lady and I started trying in March, it was our 4th attempt in August which finally worked and now Im finally happily harvesting our bub hehe.
We have a known donor in a different state who will not be in the bubs life but will be known later on if our child likes. He handed us the cup then left. Like you I was notorious & crazy for researching & googling everything I needed to know to conceive, visiting my doc for lots advice (he was gynae for 15yrs so I got lucky there).
