Well I got me a bra. I went to bras and things and a young lady (with attitude, why do all young ladies have attitude these days) fitted me. I thought a 14D was perfect but she said it wasn't tight enough so she squashed me in to a 12DD. I got Berlei one - it was $60 bucks . Then I had to go and buy some running shoes (my current pair were falling apart but they'd done well, I'd bought them from vinnies for $6 about 8 years ago). And then I nearly died again, the cheapest ones were $170 . I thought running shoes were about $60 bucks (geez I think I've been living under a rock).
Anyway, then I went for my jog. I only did 2.5km in 25 minus and I had to alternate between running and walking but I really felt it (and I'm still feeling it). Running is such a different (and better) work out compared to walking. EVERYTHING wobbled way more than was comfortable. My boobs wobbled, my thighs and bum wobbled, everything wobbled, I need a sports bra for my whole body . DH said that he wobbled all over too when he first started and was very uncomfortable but he encouraged me to keep going. He said that all the wobbly bit supporting muscles will build up, and then everything won't wobble as much, and then the wobbly bits will get smaller too, like they have for him. Thanks DH, love you darling
So my goal is to be able to run 2.5 km comfortably. So I have to run for 30 mins every second (or third if it's raining) day. Then my next goal will be to run 5km. WooHoo! Go me!
