My DH had it done while we were in Singapore. He was scared that he'd come out blind, but thankfully didn't! He was -6 in both eyes.... So pretty bad eyesight, but now has 20/20 vision..... He had trouble with glare at night though.... So wears those yellow glasses when he drives at those times which helps.

He wants me to get mine done.... But my eyes just aren't bad enough at -1 IMO.... Glasses do me just fine
