I hope nobody minds if I highjack this thread for moment but I've been reading with interest because around this time last year I experienced almost a month of super painful contraction-like symptoms that came and went but built up over an hour or 40 mins to peak then die away. I had an abdominal scan at the time because the dr suspected gall or kidney stones but my kidneys, liver etc came up perfect. In the meantime I had unexplained fertility issues and a couple of months later had a pelvic scan to look for fertility issues. By then my mystery pain/illness had vanished and this scan also presented no problems.

My question is, could I have had rupturing ovarian cysts that had healed thus didn't show up on the later scan? At the time I put the illness down to severe IBS.
