I'm back on my exercise regime and I feel 100 times better for it.

The weight will come off in time, but its great when the kids go to bed and I scoot around the house bending down (well, I make it a squat lol) to pick up the toys and I feel the strength thru my legs, and I'm not huffing and puffing to do so - I feel great - with the spare tyre and all. It just inspires me to feel fitter and stronger by continuing with the exercise, than it does to lose the weight, IYKWIM.

So I totally get what you mean!
I soooo hear you Leesa!

Its the not huffing & puffing part I love, that things feel easy. I know what you mean about the feeling of being fit is better than the weight loss. I haven't lost much weight but I can feel the tone coming back into my legs. And that makes me want to keep walking, or turn it into a run (I've tried but my breastfeeding boobies are tooooo bouncy!)

I'm excited about roller-derby for you Lulu! What is your name going to be? Can't wait to hear it!! PS There is NOTHING wrong with brie for breakfast! I love brie...mmmmm....

I'm sorry you feel fat & frumpy Sally. Are you able to walk in the evening with the kids? I chuck DD in the pram most days during witching hour.

Go Punks with the cardio fitness. When I was getting really fit before I had DD, I found my cardio fitness was the quickest thing to come back, much quicker than my muscle fitness. I would be cramping up or my legs would be jelly well before I got puffed out. I really hope you get there, because its such a good feeling!
