I heard that soaking your feet in tea helps, oddly enough. The smell is caused by bacteria and the tea help to dry out your feet, so the bacteria doesn't grow. It does tint your feet a little bit though.
this is going to sound really gross but urine is great for getting rid of tinea - so pee on your feet when you're in the shower - as in before you turn the shower on so it has time to sit on your skin.
I heard about the tea thing as well, thought it had something to do with tanning the skin like leather. Think I saw on Oprah one day. I really should try it as I have a smelly feet problem.
Don't use the crystal foot spray, just does not work. Scrubbing your feet helps a bit, gets rid of the old skin cells which can accumulate in shoes. I find a pair of sandals will only last me one summer Some shoes just seem to go smellier quicker than others. If you can wear different shoes each day and let the pair your wore the previous day dry out properly.
I have stinky feet too - i try to limit my time in shoes, at home i am bare feet all the time, i wear birks quite a lot too.
I find that if i dont dry my feet the problem is worse.
Have you got all cotton socks?
Not that i have tried it, but vodka is meant to be brilliant for solving the problem but i can think of better uses ...
