I am down to 93 this morning so 7 weeks and 16.2 kilos aint bad...I'll be in the eightys next month fingers crossed.

Well i forgot to weigh in this morning so i'm going to leave it until my usual Sunday morning. I've been bad this week, i talked DH into getting pizza for dinner last night (it was so nice i haven't had pizza for ages!) and I haven't been to the gym at all this week, promised myself last night that i was going to go tonight but now i find myself coming up with excuses like "its too hot", "i'm too tired" if only i could find where i left my motivation!!
Boo, you'll find your motivation in the last place you had it....which is probably at the gym..rofl..xxx

went to the gym, and one of the personal trainers gave me such a hard time, i am trying so hard and she just had the ****s with me as im not sticking to HER ROUTINE, aaaarrrrrrrrgggggggg.......i so hate her........i have lost nearly 6kg this month and i get no postive feedback from her.........what do you have to do to get a pat on the back????

I just went back to uni this last week, plus had a first aid course which took 2 full days, so am running behind on everything.

I have just emailed Ambah and want to join in on all the fun (haha!). I've been pretty absent minded for the last few months, so didn't even realise you guys were running a biggest loser competition (although it looks like there is more bding rather than losing weight going on in here with all the pg announcements!).
I started back at Curves at the beginning of the year, and I go 3 times a week. However I've also been on holidays for the last month and I've had prolonged bleeding for 70+ days. So they are my excuses, but I have still lost 6.4kgs since 1/1/7 so I am happy with that.
Like Shan, I have decided to focus on losing my weight, rather than TTC at the moment. Plus my ob/gyn told me to lose 10kgs before I go back to see him at the end of the month, so I should be close to getting there *fingers crossed*.
My aim each month is to lose 2.5kgs - so I probably won't be winning any biggest loser awards, but I know in myself that I need to do this slowly and keep the weight off. There have been too many times over the years when I have quickly lost 20kgs, only to put back on 30kgs. So I am taking it slow. *cue Kylie Minogue music*
Well I'm not sure if my gym opens at 7am or 8am on Saturdays, so I'm just playing out time now waiting for it to open, as I made too many excuses yesterday!
Great to have to here Belinda. It's a hard decision to make, well it was for me anyway. I was torn between losing about 10kg and start TTC again as suggested months ago, or do i lose ALL of the excess weight (and there is a ***** load of it) for myself and my long term health before getting pg. I figured that if i lost 10kg and got pg, then i'm only going to put it all back on plus more over pregnancy, and i'll be back to where i started from and still a heffa lump. This way, i can concentrate on me for a change, get to my goal weight, enjoy a few months of skinniness and then start TTC again. PLUS then i will also know if my 5 year TTC journey to date was because of my weight, or if we really are in the catagory of 'unexplained infertility'...It was hard but i know i've made the right decision. Good luck hun, and I'll know you'll do well.
Ambah - don't worry about it. I didn't end up doing anything last month anyway. I won't jump in this month either so you can take me off the front page if you like.

Well i don't know how i did it but i manged to loose 1/2kg last week! I still haven't been back to the gym but am planning on getting there tonight, if i get there or not is another thing lol.

wondering if i can join in. Doing TF at the moment - day 3 and still feeling pretty awful. Hopefully will finish detoxing soon so i can start to feel the benefits of my hard work. Hoping to lose 30kg. But any weight loss will be better than none!! Can I also joing the BL as well for extra motivation!

Well ladies, i'm on Day 4 of my new plan, and going really well. The detox side-effects only lasted for the first day, so i was pleased with that, and going great guns so far. Haven't cheated once, and i don't plan to. IF this doesn't work, then i don't think anything will for me - well except for maybe lap-band surgery, but i don't want to do that. I'm have official weigh in's once a month, but i think i'll do it once a week to see how i'm going, well at least this week anyway, coz i can see some slight changes already and i'll be interested to see how much of lost this week. I'll let you all know.

sorry i havent posted this week, well i was a bit surprised that i won the biggest loser for the month, but i have been working extremely hard, and waht do they say "no pain no gain".......well plenty of pain going on here!! still going to the gym, i get my 40day weigh in and measurement on tuesday, so i cant wait for that, as i can see the cm's i have lost since joining the gym, and also i changed trainers, as i didnt need that biarth that doesnt give you any encouragement!!
well to all the girls that have joined of late my persoanl goal is to lose 15kg, i was 80kg to begin with and i am 74kg now( or that was what i was at the beginning of the month)
i would love to get back to 65kg as that was my pre baby weight.........and im going to qld in july so i am aiming on lossing it by july.
welcome miss belinda, i hope you can get some motivation from this thead, how do you like going to curves? i was nearly going to join them, but they didnt have babysitting where i am, i wish you well with your weight loss goals, and your TTC journey.
shan, wow girl you sound so possitive, i am so glad to hear that, i am sure the kg are just going to drop off, i think we all need to be positve about our goals, and also be patient, cause these things take time....i so proud of you!

girls im going to stay in here and be your cheer swad! If it wasnt for this thread, I would never have done a detox and probably wouldnt have fallen pg yet.
Im going to tell you all how much weight I put on (I hope I really do this time) and you guys can tell me how much you loose. I have a hard time when Im pg keeping food down, so you guys can be my motivation to stay on track and not get to sick. Last pg I lost 19kg as Jed said..my best diets are being pg...im up to 112kg so far.

Thanks Chrissy. You know what. The friends i have made on this forum (even though i've only met one of you IRL) are so valuable. IRL i get told that i'm depressed, unhappy, unwilling etc etc - mainly my mum - and that talking on the internet is not healthy for me. Well, she's wrong. I feel so empowered and happy here because i'm helping others and encoraging others and for you to tell me that you are proud of me, it really means the world. Maybe my mother thinks i'm all those things because for my whole life she has put me down, that i can no longer be bothered fighting her, so she sees me as those things. I haven't told her about my new lifestyle change, because i know she'll be telling me what i should and shouldn't be doing (mind you, she is a big girl too, so can't talk!), and i'm doing this for ME.:
So thank you, and to the rest of you girls, you are all so wonderful, and i don't know where i would be without you all. You're the ones that have made me realise that i am so much more than what was drilled into my head - and even at 29yrs of age, it's still happening - and i can't thank you enough.

Hmmm men in tight shorts...that would surely keep me away from anything that might add weight. DH patted my stomach this morning look its flat didnt have the heart to tell him when I stand up its going to be round lol.
Well done Odette wow 2.2 kilos in 6 days ..I have 3 frosties too Just trying to get some excess off before going again but then again after years of non periods I have had 2 cycles 28 days on the dot...might be something in that wailing of the fert specialist telling me to lose weight ohh well too late :)

Morning girls...just wanting to jump on and give you my weigh-in details. I kinda feel bad posting my loss in here as you are all working so hard, and really, i feel like i'm sort of rubbing it in, but anyway, i told you i would post. I'm so proud of myself and this week i've lost 4.3kg. I couldn't believe the scales this morning, I felt a bit lighter, and DH noticed, but i really never thought i would lose that much, especially in a week, but then again, it was probably a lot of excess fluid, so it will be interesting to see what next week brings.
Keep up the good work girls, and i'm sorry if i've made any of you feel bad about yourselves because i know how hard you are all working to shed those kilos.

Well, it's time for me to get back into it... I really don't feel at all motivated to get back into my old training program...especially after 9 months off! So, hopefully making myself accountable in here will encourage me to get right back into it! I know it has only been 3 weeks since DD was born so I am planning on starting with regular walks and some core exercises... I haven't weighed myself so have no idea where I am at with that but assuming I am back to my pre-preg weight, I want to lose about 20Kg. Lets see how I go juggling everything!

Chrissy - I absolutely love Curves. The people there have just been amazing to me over the last few months and have really helped me to regain my positive outlook. I mainly joined them because of the location - I can walk there. But I am very happy with the setup overall.
I have my weigh-in and measurements at Curves on Monday, so I am looking forward to it, as I think I have lost about 3kgs since my last check with them, but I've probably only lost 1kg since the beginning of the month and a loss is better than a gain! I've started to notice my body feeling a bit different in shape, believe it or not.

I believe it Belinda. I few kg's off and you start noticing things that didn't seem to be there before, and you're whole shape starts changing. I felt pelvic bones this morning....roflmao...!!! You're doing so well. Keep up the good work.

Dont ever give up,if you fall off the wagon get back on the next day and not next week!!! And it sounds like alot of you are doing exercise and that is the big key! Plus water.

Just ducking in to say I'm FINALLY under 80kg! WOO HOO! It has felt like climbing Mt Everist this last few months!!!!! I never thought I'd get there! I just hope the last 10kg I need to lose disappears a bit quicker now! :pray: LOL!

sorry i havent stuck my nose in for a while, wow all this weight lose, you girls are going great guns.
i am still going to the gym, i go 5 days a week now, and im starting to try and do different things there so i dont get SO BORED with it all, luckliy for me there is a pool there, so i am going today to do aqua aerobics, and then do my laps ( i always do 60 laps when i swim) i did a balance class yesterday which i absoultly loved, had heaps of yoga in it,( and i used to practice yoga daily) so i will be doing that one again.
as for my weight, not sure if i have lost anything this month, but when i had my measureup at the gym last week, i had lost 7cm off my hips and 5cm off my waist, so im pretty happy with that..........and we had a party to go to last weekend.......and i actually could get 2 pairs of my jeans past my hips, up to my waist, AND MY GOD THEY ACTUALLY COULD DO UP!!!! pretty happy with that :)
