Wii Fit, I love it, kids love it too. We also have Wii Sports which I think is good keeps you active when you play. The kids also love Mario Cart, more Elijah really Marisa doesnt play it. We also have Mario Galaxy, its a bit tricky for Lijie to work out and has lost patience with some things, I am not a big fan of it. The kids both like Carnival games but the Wii Fit and Mario Cart are their faves.

We got Carnival Games & Beach Sports for Christmas which are pretty cool. Aaron is totally in love with Guitar Hero & he bought the CD for Guitar Hero Worl Tour as well. We also have Crash Bandicoot. Oh & Aaron has downloaded a few of the old school Nintendo games too like Tetris & Super Mario Bros.

I saw a game the other day that your DD might like, it's a cheer leader one that uses the Wii Fit board, it has lots of dancing and you can creat characters to play with. I thought it would be fun, but was a bit embarrassed at wanting a cheer leader game for myself

I got mine for my birthday & Aaron got a pack with rechargable batteries & a charger pack with is great cos I just leave the controllers on the charger all the time & you don't have to worry about batteries. The only concern with it is that you can't charge them with the silicone covers on them, so we just don't use them.

    We 'hate' the Wii now
BUT with the kids in the house I am sure it ill have a lot longer enjoyment period.

    We especially love all the party games;
    Mario Party 8
    Mario Kart
    GHIII & GHWT
    Raving Rabbids 1 & 2
    Super Smash Brothers
Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones & Batman (great 1P or 2P games)
    BoomBlox is pretty fun
Mario Galaxy is fantastic, maybe not so great for the kids but as adult Mario fans we both loved it and have played it three times over already. We are really only keeping our Wii for the Mario games. It is confusing because of the gravity and stuff but you get used to it. So well done.
Super Paper Mario was pretty awful, not my cup of tea at all, but DP finished it.
WiiFit was great while I was remembering to use it but it was sub-par in terms of being useful for an actual routine. Spending too long in menus and not enough on the exercises.

The thing about the Wii is that it is LEGAL to be modded, which meant that when the dollar was decent we got great prices on NTSC games before they were released in Aus.

We haven't used it for a while so I am not sure what new games there are but HTH

Carnival Games has things like, shooting gallery, throwing darts at balloons, a dunking machine thing, throwing hoops onto bottles, you know the hammer thing where you hit it really hard to make the thing go up & hit a bell.... Geeze I'm great with explanations aren't I

    We got ours for christmas

Mario Kart - my DS is nearly 6 and loves it - it poured here on 27/12 and we spent the day playing it LOL

SUper Mario Galaxy - my DS is soooo much better than me - he can figure it out, but does need help with the reading sometimes for hints etc - but I dont mind watching him when I need to b/f and he wants to play - i love all the mario games - the colour, the adventures, no shoot-em-ups etc - I think good for younger kids like mine.
    Sports - yeah, ok

We bought Mario Kart and Mario Party 8 with ours (not a huge fan of mario party and have lent it to friends)
We also go the Wii Sports and Wii Fit.

We have been renting games first to see if we like them as they are so exxy to buy.

Nic - we really had to hunt around to find one that stocks a few of them - there still doesn't seem to be that many games out for Wii but Blockbuster down here has the best selection so far....

Really glad I am testing them this way though - I saw Sim City Creation and nearly bought it and we rented it instead and it is honestly IMPOSSIBLE to play on Wii - the controls are stupid!!!

But am absolutely loving - Mario Cart - Mario Glaxy - Sim 2 Castaway and am still waiting to hire Zelda.

Cannot wait until I can use the Wii Fit properly and my little Mii doesn't look like a beached whale ....LMAO

We got another controller which has been great as two people can play at the same time. We have wii fit which the whole family uses and wii sport. DH has Red Steel which is swordfighting game, he says its cross between shooting and swordfighting, he thinks its quite good. He did have Sonic and mario Olympic one but took it back cause he didn't like it.
We also have guitar hero and 2 guitars which got a workout over Christmas, thats been a big hit.
