Red face Help me stop at one!

Pleaseeee someone help me stop my occassional 'binge' eating!! Its not too bad really, but once I have one biscuit or 1 chocolate I tend to go back for seconds, thirds, forths or maybe more!!

I've put this down to coming off the pill and hormones trying to get all balanced but its been 4 months now since coming off the pill so I cant use that excuse any more can I?!

I have tried the 'don't have anything bad in your cupboards' approach but find that my 'binge' will be even worse when I eventually get to what I am craving so I would like to treat myself with some once, and stop at only the once!!

What are your tricks? I find that if I chew gum, I am ok so I think I must eat as a boredom thing??

I do exercise quite a lot, so I can treat myself occassionally, just shouldn't be binging!! And I am TTC so I am a little more relaxed with my healthy eating but I don't want to put on any kilos that are not needed right now!!

my suggestion would be to home bake some mini cookies and have 2 that way u feel like you have gone back for seconds but they actually only equal to one big one...

sorry not much more advice then that, besides everyone deserves a treat aswell

I did bake some mini cookies, put them in my cookie jar and ending up eating them all in 2 days!! argh, cookies are my weakness...
If I bake, I really need to freeze majority of it so I don't eat them all!

There's your solution! Bake, wrap individually (in one serve portions), freeze and pull one and only one serve out every day. You'll have to wait til it defrosts so it'll be too much hassle to wait for another cheeky serve!
I did that with my choc raspberry muffins after I ate the first batch in two days!

That's what I do for my kids lunches so they don't devour the lot in 10 minutes.

Other tricks I've heard work are drinking water instead, brushing your teeth after having 1 so that everything tastes poo, make yourself busy and go for a walk.
