    Sweating

Hi all. Since I was pregnant with Logan, I seem to sweat excessively.
I don't even have to be doing anything for the sweat to just drip off me, and if I am doing something, then it's worse.

I am back on the pill. I also seem to be very moody, which I'm not sure if it's just tiredness.

What can I do to stop sweating so much? When everyone else is cold, I am hot and have the cooler on.

hey hun is it all over sweating or in one place?
mitcham roll on is fabbo but if that doesnt work theres a roll on call driclor, if u use it though make absolutely sure that the area is comletely dry before putting on! trust me it stings like buggary! u put it on b4 bed at night then wash it off in the morning and use your normal deodorant.
it might be hormonal or it could be something called hyperhodrosis(sp?) which is basically ur sweat glands being over active. The driclor shrinks the sweat glands, it works really will

Skybie- It's all over sweat unfortunately. I have tried every possible deoderant. I brought the new Rexona one (it's a cream) the other night, and it seems to keep my underarms fairly dry. I'm always wearing dark coloured clothes as it doesn't show the sweat. Where did u get the driclor from?

you can get it at the chemist, pretty sure its over the counter. its in a blue and white box, bout $15, exxy but works wonders.
if its all over it sounds more hormonal, maybe something to talk to your GP about.
i totally understand the dark clothes!! its only been the past few years ive been able to wear something other than black!
before i found driclor i was contemplating botox therapy. so glad i found it! saved myself thousands!

Bridg, worth chatting about to your dr - to make sure you don't have an underlying health problem that is causing fevers. This goes especially for night sweating.

However, I reckon yours is more likely to a hormonal thing. Are you breastfeeding - I used to get a lot of hot flushes etc when I was BFing - probably due to lower levels of oestrogen in the body.

Skybie- I will head to the chemist on Monday. The rexona cream stuff I brought, was about $12 I think.

    Marydean- I'm not breastfeeding.

Ok, so I had stopped the pill for a while, and the sweating eased up hugely. Now, I started taking the pill again on Saturday, and this morning I am hot as! I slept terrible last night, as I was hot. So, I'm thinking that maybe the pill is making my hormones go all funny???
