Does anyone use skipping as a part of their exercise? I used to when I did martial arts, but I don't have my leather rope anymore (something my ex boyfriend kept, never understood why! ).

Just wondering, probably a bit of a dumb question, which is the best sort of rope to get or does it make a difference? Ie, the plastic ones with the little "T" shaped handles, or the thick leather ones with a 'normal' handle?

Was wondering because I know skipping is good for stamina and other things I think, and I think it would be one of the few exercises I will be able to do at home with the new bub, and cheaply. And (okay, feel free to slap me!) I never minded it when I used to do my training.
