Been back to the naturopath today and she's recommended 1 teaspoon of coconut oil daily for regulating sugar levels and hormonal balance. Can't say I find it overly tasty - but I'll deal with it.
Anyone want to enlighten me to further benefits of this miracle oil?

Personally I love it for cooking, particularly in baking sweets like muffins and cakes. iN savory stuff, not so much, but it just depends on what you're cooking.
I dunno if I'd just eat a teaspoon of it on it's own! I just substitute all oils in cooking for coconut oil, and sometimes butter. There is a thread here somewhere about it, and someone suggested a great site about it listing all the benefits - off to find it now!
