Twinkles as a nurse I can say that you are describing an infection in your c/s scar. The fact that you have already been on ab's and it hasn't cleared up means that it is probably infected with a resistant strain of bug. I would say that you need intravenous antibiotics and that you are going to waste your time at the after hours Dr's. They won't be able to give you intravenous antibiotics. I suggest you go to the local ED and see someone. The longer you leave it the worse it will get.

Take some panadol because that will help bring down the fever and you may feel better. The fact that it is making you fee nauseous suggests that it is now affecting your whole system and you need to take it seriously. You don't want to end up really septic.

Yes very dangerous if you leave it. People in old times used to die from infections. I don't think you will have and danger of that if you go to hospital but you do need to go right now and get it treated

Hope you are on your way to the hossy just like all the other lovely ladies have advised... I won't harp on, think I've told you my story before about how extremely sick I was with a c/s infection. I let it go thinking it would just clear up and go away, boy was I wrong.. Take care x
