    sounds for silence

I was wondering if anyone has used the 'Sounds for Silence' cd?
I have heard some good things about it and was considering buying it as another tool to convince my 4wk old son that sleep is good!

    Hi Em

We used in with DS2 and we LOVE it! It was our saviour as he was a terribly unsettled, non sleeping baby. We had a copy for his bedroom, the car and the loungeroom. He liked the white noise the best and we had one particular track on repeat throughout the night. I would definitely recommend it.

    Good luck with your DS

    We have both.

Tried SSS at around 4-5 weeks with no luck, and then Peacebaby, which worked wonders.

I also find it relaxing to listen to, which is a bonus!

We used Sounds for Silence. Claire seemed to like the womb sounds and the white noise trcks. She settled pretty well to it.

I have purchased this recently - what did you do in conjuction? I've read the book but after 3 nights nothing is happening. I'm trying to get him to use a "blankey" and I gave it to him when he woke up after 2 hours last night, but was up again in 3 anyway. I'm totally exhausted and need some help with this

Ashlee with Matilda we would do reading 2 books and lay in bed talking about all the good and positive things that we've done in the day, for a while I used to massage her feet with lavender oil while we did that to help relax her body. I also used a room spray made by healing hippo with lavender, chamomile oils to help. Goodluck!!! *hugs*

we used sounds of silence!! Annika only really like the first track (the womb sounds) so we just put it on repeat
DS is the same !!!! I thought it was a bit expensive but after it calmed him down in 5 seconds it was worth it. We have also get several copies of it - bedroom, car and lounge room. He goes to sleep with it now.
