We are sharing our bed with our newest DS (as well as the big one). DS1 has been a co-sleeper since about 8 months, although it is now very much part time, not even every night, just when he wants to come in to us. So I'm new to this co sleeping with a little baby! The way it seems to work best is for DS1 to be in the middle when he comes in, and DS2 on the other side of me. This means that he can BF without us having to reshuffle (I only have one boob that works well, which is on that side).
ATM I have the bassinette pushed up against the bed, JIC he rolls (not likely now, but I know it will happen one day). I would prefer to use a bed rail, but am unsure...........is this considered safe for when he IS rolling? What sort should I use? Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
I can't believe I feel like such a novice with this, given that we adore co-sleeping with our big boy But he only did it really from 9 months, and then only part time until about 16 months when he was in our bed all the time. So yeah, we're loving it, but we need some tips! TIA
