Thanks Bathsheba - yep, I acknowledge I need to work on my own resilience. I think being a parent makes you realise a few things about where your own journey has taken you and the effect this might have on your kids. Yep, as he gets older he will be more aware of everything and more aware of pain and needles - I was just so proud that he didn't cry - he was the only one that didn't.
