Swimming success - At last
As some of you may have read we are currently seeing some people about DS little quirks (thinking maybe aspergers) anyway for the past 2 yrs we have been fighting a loosing battle against the water. He has been having swimming lessons since 9mths and never wanted his head under water, after 6wks of private lessons we were gtting to the point where he wouldn't even have a bath and then...... Today he just put his face in the water - OMG!!!! he even half swam from like one end of the bath to the other. Not much I know but you should have seen the party going on here! We had jellybeans in the bath an I gave him one of his christmas toys early! I'm just so excited, even if it does not continue it is something.
Just goes to show if you just keep gently persisting, something will come of it!
