what happens next when bub grows up when you want to stop co-sleeping

just wanting to hear the good and bad stories of when mummies or bubbies decide to stop co-sleeping, is it hard to get them out of the habit?? i'm not sure when to stop co-sleeping whether I should try before 6 months or if its not a big deal getting them out of your bed just wait until i fall pregnant next? as i wouldn't feel safe co-sleeping with a bump.

both my kids start out in their own beds but end up in ours.. so i guess we still co sleep..
a friend of mine co sleeps with her 4yr old and 16 month old..
IMO there is nothing better then waking up to a cuddle with your kids. its why we bought a king size bed! haha
