9.1 on GCT

Just got a phone call today to say I had a high gct reading. I am not sure how to feel right now. With so many other things that have come up in this pg I am starting to think this might be our last.

Who has had high readings and then got a normal or low reading in the 2hr test?

If I do end up with gd, what am I in for? I have read a few of the recent posts but need more info.

Try not to worry, I had 9.5 on my GCT and then (not sure exactly the number) a low result for my GTT. Apparently 30% of women fail their GCT and most of those pass their GTT, beats me why they don't just go straight to GTT but I guess this is their system

High on the first one (I think it was 9.1 same as you) but all good on the second one.

Thanks for the encouragement girls. Feeling a bit down today. Dh is away for the day and when I am feeling down I normally turn to choc. Thus far I have avoided this comfort food but it is so hard. I am so determined that I get a low reading on Tuesday.

Got my ogtt test reading back today. #1 was 4.3 #2 was 5.0 and #3 was 5.4 so I am in the clear for gd. I am so happy. Thanks girls for your help and support.
