I think divvy is quiet because she plays in the major leagues when it comes to lego

I will be keeping my eyes open for more for DD2's birthday

    Re: Lego/Mega Bloks Lovers #2...

Toy shop closed today. Will ring tomorrow from work MD!

I may have been frustrated that we couldn't get the Lego tree decoration that we were going to buy (Lego man ordered but Lego never came through!) so I made my own this morning. Nothing super spesh but it's Lego which is perfect for this year

We may have also bought another city truck. But that's zf's fault!

I'd love that one too MD. I really wanted the market, but just couldn't justify the cost.

I have had excellent customer service from the actual Lego site. I did a big order at the end of Oct, but missed out on the free promo even though they were still advertising it, so I worte them an email. Thay said sorry, but we ran out.
Then I had to call them because the post tracking they gave me couldn't be found by Aus Post. They were so helpful. Turned up within a couple of days as it had travelled from Europe (with free postage).
Then the other night I got an email with an order, but I hadn't ordered anything. It was for one of the lego sets I missed out on (a Chrissie Promo) with free postage that they're sending. Not bad.

I don't even know I I could count all our sets, but I've been collecting for the better part of 30 years. I even got DH a Big Ben set. We went round the word for our honeymoon and his favourite photo of me is there.

Well, we are obviously mere tadpoles when it comes to Lego - we've accumulated about 15 sets in the past four months (including the Xmas ones). Still, not bad IMO

Kim - good to know that the Lego customer service is so great.

    Re: Lego/Mega Bloks Lovers #2...

I have got a bit of a collection happening now, just in the last few months. Actual sets, not including polybags - DS has 2 already & is getting 7 for christmas (oncluding the big box from kmart) and 5 for his birthday. I have bought another 3 that I'm not sure when to give him. I've got all 9 friends animal sets plus 6 small sets and 4 bigger ones. I've probably bought about 20 polybags to give the kids for rewards. And we have a city & friends advent calender. I do not want to know how much it cost . So 33 sets plus about 20 polybags.

The kids were very excited about their lego advent calendars! DD got the Friends one and was so excited to get her very own lego mini-doll that she took it to bed with her. I took it off her after she fell asleep so it wouldn't get lost in the bed. She woke up crying this morning "I want my Stephanie" most upset because she couldn't find it. I gave it back to her and she went back to sleep with the sweetest little smile on her face. So worth it!

    Re: Lego/Mega Bloks Lovers #2...

I saw the lego friends undies in Big W when I was specifically shopping for undies for DD but they didn't have any small enough Boohoo. I got her lalaloopsy & dora instead. SHe will love them but they are just not the same.

We have a friends and city advent calendar. I was a bit disappointed to realise I actually have last years city one. Oh well. DS loves it anyways. But this years has a much cooler Santa in it.

And Myer hasn't pulled through with my order yet. The coastguard patrol boat is out of stock apparently. They haven't actually told me this. I had to search on the website. The rest turned up. The boat was the one I wanted most. It will come. It will come.

Yeah, the undies are going to swim on DS (he's a 1-2 atm) but he'll love them regardless!

Sweeeeeeet! $3 DVD for us tomorrow!

Big a are very on the money with the Lego stuff. They had little bit leg undies and singlet set too, but not in the right size for dd. They would have been great light weight jim jams if she was a kid that would wear them, but last summer she insisted on winter jim jams all the time (so we had to have a fan on all the time!). I'm hoping this summer is a bit easier to stress her appropriately!

    To stress her hey lol!

DD2 is already asking for more lego for her birthday (jan) and she wants more ninjago dvd's plus the 2 friends dvd's we don't have & she wants ninjago lego

My girls definitely don't know there is a difference between boy & girl lego and I love it that way!

    Re: Lego/Mega Bloks Lovers #2...

Dd doesn't like the nijagi stuff cos her daddy doesn't like it. She is daddy's girl through and through! She has already put in her order for more city trucks. And we apparently MUST get daddy the mine (so much so that she made me layby the last one last week. Wouldn't let me leave without doing it!). She really really wants the fire station too

I think she's going to end up with a secind friends beauty shop. Tbg said his girls picked something and it sounds like that. Won't be able to return it from our layby as she already has it (and he ditched the receipt). Might have to try and get it from him before she sees it and if it's the beauty shop swap it for one of the things we have for her. And then put the extra beauty shop aside for a present or some thing. Argh. Too much thinking. Hurts!
