Lego/Mega Bloks Lovers #2...

Awesome Boomba! I think the character sets really appeal to the little ones. I bought a second hand toy story set (Buzz's spaceship) off ebay & DS loves it. He zooms it around the house and has Buzz kill Zurg.

I have just set up a little polybag lego set on my desk at work - Olivia's desk. I thought it was appropriate :lol:.

One more star and DS will get another lego reward. He has been asking for another Harry Potter set but I think I'll surprise him with a Batman one as it will be his fifth reward. He hasn't seen the batman ones yet.

DP is lucky there are no shops close, hanging to set up lego ;)

Taking all my strength to not open the small sets I've hidden for x-mas ;)

Can totally relate ZF! So want to rip into all the sets I've put up for later.

DS failed to get his reward tonight :( I gave him so many chances and explained about the reward and he just wouldn't listen. I think he was just too tired because I had to wake him up this morning. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow :)

Dd shopped Lego today. For her cousins! Love love love my girl!

Yes I saw it in the catalogue that arrived the other day. The creator house is on special too for $65. So tempted but it says it's for ages 8+ so I think I might wait.

Is it the creator house that has the light? The white one with three houses to make? We made it for DD1 who is 4 and she plays with it daily. Loves it.

We don't get junk mail here so can't see if it's the same one.

Dd can't put the creator houses together without guidance. But she loves playing with them. She is getting the light up house for Christmas. Actually I think sanga may bring that for daddy...

Oh no. I just saw that Big W now has click & collect for all stores. I need to ban myself from online shopping for a while! I do not need more lego!

When I look at an item (like the creator house) it has three options - home delivery, click & collect or shop in store. I'm assuming if it says in store only then it's not available online. Always the way.

Called DP, poor bloke is flat chat at work.
Asked if he's going past a big w on his way home, he's not sure but if not I might see if a friend can watch Z in the morning & I will run to the shops. Means I can also grab some stocking fillers (lego stationary) aswell.
Haven't even started on nieces & nephews! Argh!

Sooo DP might go tomorrow, looking at Coast guard ship set, summer riding camp, creator house with working light & fire station :)

That's basically the girls done with a few sticking fillers, and a couple if little things off their list ;)

Going to the caravan for the w/end so undid 4 mini sets (3 animals & a jet ski) and put all in a sistema tub. So they have to search through to find the right bits then build ;)

you need to get a small random set to keep in the caravan for them!

They've got 2 mega blok sets from
SIL, was going to throw them in 1 box & leave it there but it's a creative build (no instructions) which means they will fight I've pieces & want to take a board with them!

Will swap it up each time we go ;)

We got all 4 sets - $340 later ;) BRILLIANT!

He forgot the stationary but I'm sure I can sneak that!

So 4 big sets, 2 mini box & 2 mini bag sets, 4 lego books & 2 ninjago dvd's plus stationary...

Mum has them some barbie sets & a lego table & hopefully other ppl get lego.
Might still buy a joint set from FIL if he has $$ leftover to put towards presents (thinking police set or airport :p )

I am making a list of the sets we have, I know there are apps for it, will go back to that link and then go over all the sets and enter them in... only issue is we have Mega Bloks ones too that I really want to keep track of.

Might have to print something up - am thinking that in the last 6ish months since we started really getting into lego I'm guessing we now have roughly $800 + of lego & mega bloks.... considering the haul today was worth over $400 on it's own and we have the $100 cruiser set plus all her barbie ones and the bigger sets she got for her birthday..... it's quite a stash in a short period of time.

There are so many things I would love to get for the girls and I think we need to reassess how we are storing the lego.

At the moment we have the mega bloks sets from SIL in the lego head, the original mixed box plus random bits in a divided tub (thank you cardboard & sticky tape) sorted by color.
An old tool box with dividers has all small pieces then we have about 10+ sets actually set up that I have no idea on storage once they get pulled apart PLUS the 4 giant sets coming.....
The lego table will be good for random play as I think it has a hole in the middle and a drawer but not sure how that's going to go with having sets set up... maybe it's tall enough to hide made up sets in :)

DS couldn't find a few pieces he needed from his aeroplane set...the whole house stopped while we turned everything upside down, lol! Eventually found them stuck inside Santa's beard on his Santa Sack, but you could feel the tension... :)

Thanks Hun, think we have something like 37 (incl ones coming for x-mas) lego sets plus about 9 mega bloks (or more).

SIL just said she got some and mum has I think 4 or more barbie mega bloks coming... Not a bad stash in about 6mths :p

We have 68 unique sets (78 in total). Not including Christmas sets. Looked at first set e got (took pics) and that was taken end of June. Not a bad haul for five months! Yikes!!

Well, I'm so not in the lego big leagues ... BUT delighted to say that I have snaffled up a couple of the winter village sets for my own pure, unadulterated enjoyment. :D. And I think Father Christmas will definitely reward my Christmassy devotion by bringing me another ;).

All I need now is to get my hands on the winter village bakery. Anyone seen one anywhere (not hideously overpriced)?

Also, ONE MORE SLEEP until Lego advent calendar starts!!!
