Where to buy a kiddie camera right before Christmas?

I purchased my DS2 an awesome Disney Cars kiddie digital cameras for Christmas from ebay. Sadly, the item is a no show and now I am having to do the whole paypal dispute thing to get back my money.

DS2 has only asked for 2 things for Christmas - A Nintendo DS and a digital camera.

We have decided to hold off on the DS until his birthday, but we don't want him to feel let down that he got nothing he has asked for as he has been a really good little boy all year.

So, has anyone seen semi decent kiddie digital cameras around? We're willing to pay up to $80.

Have you tried Kmart? I saw some in their catalogue about a week ago. Not sure how much or what quality. I think I also saw one in D ick Smith

oooo D smith had some good cheap ones advertised the other week. Try them! They weren't too expensive either. Otherwise Kmart and Target usually have them.

Also, does it have to be a kiddie one? Some places sell normal ones cheaper than the kiddie ones.

Try lassoo. You can type in what you're after and it'll bring up all the shops near you with them on sale.

    Thanks everyone.

My DD1 came in with some catalogues not long after I posted this and D ick Smith have some for $19.98 so I am gonna go buy one of those tomorrow

They even have video cameras for $59.98 which DS2 would love!

There's one at Target for under $20... it's a puppy dog and you hold the ears....comes with all software required. I got one for Oskar but not the puppy, they had blue ones with rockets on it a while back. They're a good kid size too I think.

So, after only getting the D ick Smith catalogue yesterday, we went to buy the camera & video camera only to be told they're all sold out and all the near by stores are sold out too.

DH & I drove elsewhere to find a camera and thought we would try another D ick Smith just to be sure. The guy at that store looked them up and found one blue one for us and got a 3rd store to hold it for us. Sadly all the video cameras are sold out, but we got the camera and that is the main thing

    Thanks everyone for your help!

ah glad you found the camera, we had some close friends over for Christmas on the wkend before we head interstate & they gave DS the puppy dog camera that was mentioned above....he loves it!!!

It's tough isn't it, I got presents around toy sale time when DS1 didn't really understand....fast forward to end of year and he's got it now & actually asked for some things. So we made an effort to get him a few of the things he requested.
