    Easter Is Coming

    I can't believe it's nearly here already!

    1. What do you buy the kiddies
    2. Do you go away
    3. What's your favorite egg/present

DD2 has a dairy allergy so I need to find dairy free eggs or make my own so that could be interesting!

I would like to get away from all the lollies and choc so was thinking a kids digital camera and 1 egg for DD1. What do you think?

Depending on DPs leg we will go to our van on the Murray, it's also his 30th on Easter so hopefully I can dig up some $$ to get him something.

My face chic is humpty dumpty

    1. I don't know what I'm going to buy them this year ! This year I'll have TWO kids! Obviously, no choc for the little one, but maybe a choc rabbit for DS and something little. Haven't really thought about it.

    2. We are going to go away. We would love to go camping, but I think we'll be staying with DH relatives. Either way, we wont be at home.

    3. I'm not too fussy.

Hooray for Easter! As a kid, we had amazing egg hunts. It would always start at the door - there'd be a note under a rock saying something along the lines of "Good morning K & R, I came to drop off your eggs but I can't leave them here! People from the road would see them! Have a look near the shed. EB" So we'd race around to the shed, where we'd find another note, a reason the eggs couldn't be left there, and somewhere else to look. There were about 10 notes til we finally got to our gifts, we absolutely loved it. Can't wait to do something like that for my kids

We always got one egg type gift, and the other was a toy or teddy or something, so not too much chocolate. I love your idea for your DD, the photos kids take are fantastic

Now, we travel quite a bit to see family, unless they're going somewhere. We get everyone something small, but for the kids especially we try to avoid too much chocolate and get the ones that are an egg and a toy. This year, because it's an extra long weekend, I'm excited cos we get to spend a few days camping on the beach with friends, I can't wait!

Just a few eggs and they have been eyeing off some more stuff from smiggle

Not sure if we're going away.

And malteaster bunnies are the best!

We are staying at home and ds's going to be toilet trained - lucky him

We will do an egg hunt with a few of those little hollow eggs and i have bought him a thomas book to be the 'prize' at the end. DD who is way too young for chocolate will get a little bunny and an eater egg which mummy will happily eat.

The kit kat egg is my fave and the crunchy and the malteaser - oh i just love all of them!

Easter isn't a big deal here, I always get them a just few eggs. We usually go camping over Easter but this year we're not sure what we're doing.

We will do and egg hunt, just with the mini eggs and they will each get one bigger egg of some sort. Other gifts we give at easter are PJ's. Somehow it's become tradition for us to get our first new snuggly jammies for the coming winter at easter, lol! Usually we each get some nice pj's, slippers and a dressing gown if we need one.
We won't be going away, unfortunately (though he will earn mega bucks) DH has to work over easter.
