My Parents.....

.....find themselves in the same State tomorrow, with none of their 3 kids/spouses/grandchildren or any other family around, so they have planned to have a lovely Christmas lunch together.

They got divorced nearly 17 years ago, and I can remember some very uncomfortable Christmas days and celebrations in the first few years after they split. And my heart is just so warmed by the thought that rather than spend the day alone, they are going to hang out together

(Mom will probably whinge about him after, but that's besides the point heh heh)

That is so lovely to hear. My parents have had a bitter divorce (mainly thanks to Dad) can't say that would ever happen.

That is just lovely that they are spending the day together! Hopefully they are in a space where they can reminisce about how much fun it is to play santa and remember some of the 'good' times they had thanks for sharing
