Home made Christmas cards?

Does anyone have any nice ideas for home made cards?

Last year I took a photo of DS in a xmas hat and stuck it on the front of a card with tinsel around. I want to do somethig different this year, any ideas?

I usually have a full theme going for cards/wrapping/gift cards. Up until recently I had access to a plan plotter so I used to scan whatever pics went onto the card, and make wrapping paper and gift cards with that.

One year for work, I used photoshop to create a xmas design on a card and then put the team photo in a photo frame on the wall. People thought they were professionally done cards.

I can't wait until next year when I have a baby, the perfect little person to pose for photos on christmas cards, I'm going to have so much fun thinking up different themes.
Other than that I don't have any ideas sorry!! But am looking forward to hearing other peoples!
