DH wants to go to the UK for the same reason. He had one Christmas over there growing up and said Christmas has never been the same back here since. Such a contrast though to spending Christmas afternoon swimming outside in the pool like we do now![]()
As much as I would love the "prettiness" of a white Christmas, the ultimate for me is a stinking hot day (that we haven't had for years) with family and friends and then long hot holidays at the beach!!! Love it!
.... surrounded by family and friends, by those who love you and you love. Oh hang on, I am getting my ultimate Christmas this year.
New York or Paris would be my ultimate Christmas destination
I had a white Christmas in Munich when I was 16, but was too homesick to appreciate it. I'm kicking myself now as I sit and swelter in the humidity of SE Qld!!
Definitely a white christmas with my family...preferably in Scotland or Ireland!
I also wish I could have my grandparents who have passed to be here so they could meet my boys and DH![]()
Well for those who want a white christmas, head up to the Grampians, you may get your wishThere's snow predicted this Sunday night!
We sort of had a white Christmas a few years ago! It snowed on Christmas Day, we woke up to white snow covered mountains around us. My brother and DH went up and brought some snow back and we all made a snowman on Christmas morning.
My ulitmate Christmas would be to find a present under the tree for me. I never get Christmas presents from DH![]()

hehehe Tinks, my parents were visiting from Brissie that Christmas, and absolutely froze while waiting for us to pick them up from the B&B they were staying at!!!! We went to Mt Dandenong and admired the snow!!!
