Why does SANTA get all the applause?

So why is it that SANTA is the one who gets all the applause at X-Mas time, what about Mrs Claus.... i don't know about you guys but Mrs Claus is FANTASTIC.

I've heard that last night she started putting together a swing set for 2 little girls all on her own, then when Santa showed up she still had to give him instructions on how it's done.

Yesterday she also cooked breakfast for Mr Claus and his friend and today she's taking the kids for a walk, food shopping, making salad & rice for x-mas eve dinner with the IL's, building a cupboard AND all while maintaining her prim n proper look

So why is it SANTA gets all the recognition....

To all the other Mrs Claus out there, i salute you.. keep up the great work

    Cheers Mrs Claus!

I don't mind Santa getting all the credit, it only lasts a few years and I love seeing the kids get so excited about Christmas. My older 2 don't believe anymore and every year they each take me aside and thank me for their pressies. DD actually did it at the cricket christmas party because she loved her present....a $10 lava lamp from Kmart lol.

we choose to write Santa on the cards and stuff we don't put any from us while they are little but it's more everyone assumes that DAD is SANTA and that SANTA does all the hard work.. well not so.. Mrs Claus does ALL the work with x-mas pressies...

here here ZF! I get annoyed by it because DH does NOTHING to prep for Christmas except haul the tree and decorations up stairs for me... I do everything else! Organise presents, menu, cook, decorate. It's a bit hard for me to swallow this year as DH is being a bit of a pill. But I do LOVE Christmas. It's not HIS thing (as he keeps reminding me).

In our house Santa is only responsible for one gift and it doesn't come close to anything from Mum and Dad (plus, I doubt Santa can spare a week to put together the swing and fort set that's being constructed in our yard, despite his experience). DD tells us Mrs Claus is busy looking after all the elves and the spare reindeer while Santa is having his photo taken.
