    Talking Xmas presents for Mum

I am stuck, I love my mum dearly and I can not decide what to buy her for Xmas. I have done a photo book for her birthday.
So what are you buying your Mum? Give me some ideas Please!!!!!

What about a voucher for a facial or a massage? My mum loved things like that.

We are doing a calendar with photos of the family on each month. She is also a really bad map reader so we are getting her a sat nav thingy for her car so she stops getting lost!!!

I'm thinking I'll get my Mum a doorstop....he,he LOL when I type that it doesn't sound that nice at all! Currently there seems to be some of the nicest doorstops in all the home shops. Either that or there are some really nice 3 wise men Christmas deco's in the jellewery shop that she would love also. And she will be getting a childrens book that she can read to all her grandies....one that has the word "Nanna"in the title.
For MIL I got her cooking with Grandma, as she is called Grandma & she looooooves cooking. So he can have this as a book to read when she has the grandies to visit.

My sister, brother and I always put our money together for our parents Christmas presents. This year we got my mum a book about all the top news headlines from when newspapers first started in Australia to 2009 and a book with all the cheats for the new Super Mario Bros Wii lol. We'll also do a calendar.

Have you asked her what she would like? She might say something surprising!

The other thing to think about - if she has all the 'things' she needs - is to get her an 'experience'. You know, tickets to a show, a hot air balloon flight, a river cruise, a winery tour, one of those lunches on an old steam train. Even things like a massage or a visit to a day spa might be welcomed.

I found the other day 20 yrs of Bold and the beautiful book she loves that show has been watch it from the begining, so thought why not...

we normally send my parents money as they are pensioner ( sp ?) and have a traveling account, so they can travel around the country to visit people without having to worry about where they are going to find the money...
