Question Car seat & sleeping on long car trip?

    Hi

DS and I are flying to QLD to drive back from Brisbane with DH. I recently turned DS car seat to frontwards facing but am concerned with how he is sleeping. Often his head falls forward and I am worried about this on our trip. I have his seat reclined as much as it will go. Is there anything else I can do? What have others done.

DS can not sit up alone yet but is over the weight and height allowance suggested for rearward facing. Should I turn him back around for the trip?

    Would love some advice.

I think its recomended that children stay rearward facing till they are at least 12months old now. My DS's car seat stayed rearward facing till he was 10 and a half months and was always in the 90th percentile for his weight.

Maybe it would be easier if you just turned it back?

DS is 9.5 kg and 73 cm long. The car seat said to turn it around once they were 9 kg or longer then 70 cm.

Head control is important....it wont harm him to be rearfacing even if he is over the weight/height limit.
