Planning a romantic trip for two or the whole family? I haven't had any experience with cruises myself, I know my hairdresser raves about them - she goes on one every year LOL.
all the bad stories ... that show , "the deadlieast catch" .... always have had a fear of them ... funnily enough the bigger the boat the more scared of it i am ..
and vast expanses of water that are deep scare the jeepers out of me ...
lol... if yu worry ... take some rescure remedy !!
ETA :::: just rememberd i went on the spirit of tasmania and it was like 8mtr swell ... even the captian was packing it ... we wernt allowed to move from our seats ...
We went on a pacific isles cruise a few yrs ago with my DH and some friends(who got married in Vanautu) and I really loved it. It is soo much fun, especially for a romantic holiday I think. There has been heaps of negative publicity on the recently, but I had a ball and will do it again when I can afford it.
If you have some more questions, ask away
Yep we went with P&O, and OMG the food!!! I put on about 5kgs in 2 yes TWO weeks!!! It was a bit of a party ship. But we went just after schoolies started and just before christmas so it was probably not the best time for a quieter type of cruise. We were only 25 at the time and out for a bit of a party anyway, so it didn't bother us. But we were talking to an older couple one day (about 50ish) and they told us that they had been on 10 cruises and it depended on the time of yr and which cruise you went on, so if you want a quiter one, just talk to your travel agent. I really do reccommend them though, we had a blast, and the islands are absolutely stunning with heaps of different activities you can do.
