ID tags for kids

What sort of things do you use so your children have some sort of ID tag on them whilst travelling, any ideas? I feel like I should have something for them but not sure what?

theres lady here whom does prints u could ask to print ya up a top or two with your mobile number on it or something we normally make badges for the kids for those sorts of things

You can buy wrist bands from stuck on you but my boys find them uncomfortable and rip them off. Your children are a bit older so they might understand why they're there and leave them on.
Other options are writing it on a bit of cloth and safety pinning it on.
For somthing like the show or the footy I just write my mobile number on their forearm but it's not so effective internationally because of the IDD thing.
I saw some chidren with those plastic key-ring thingies with the paper for writing on around their necks on a flight last year.

Please do not do t-shirts. For stranger danger we are taught that obviously named clothing is a BIG nono, as a stranger can pretend to know the child (even a small child). The wrist bands are a great idea and I'd go with them.

thats why i wouldnt put the name on it only a phone number with out details.

I think the idea of the of the keyring tag sounds good with some ribbon around their neck, my children are 6 and 7. One side on the destination address with phone numbers and on the home address with phone numbers, thanks everyone

I got bands from Target They are rubber and you get a texta with them and can write on it. I also taught them that if they get lost to go find a police lady or man, or a mummy with kids and tell them they are lost and show the band.
