I am thinking about travelling to Tassie From Adelaide by myself with my DS who will be 7months old at the time of travel. If we go we will be travelling Virgin blue. I am not sure how much of a stopover I will need between flights? I have the option of a few hours or just 30-45minutes. I figure that I will need to grab a drink, go to the toilet and preferably change DS. I don't think I will be able to eat/drink onboard with DS on my lap.
also has anyone rented a car from Hertz with an carseat? I will need the toddler(?)/convertible carseat, preferably in rear facing position. He is too long for the infant seat. How have you found them and what brands models are they generally. I may need to call them to find out those details though
the difference is generally between 30mins and a hour....
if the difference is only half hour you need to go straight to the next boarding gate as we will be starting to board at about 25 mins prior to dep.....if long then you will obviously have time to do some other things
help it helps....
make sure when you book to look at th connecting flight times you can always choose a longer conecting time if you need too
Thanks, The trip was a few weeks ago. I ended up choosing the one with 2hours. Going over was great, lots of time and my DS slept in the pikkolo. Coming back he didn't sleep so was tired on the plane and we could have made the earlier flight. IT was ok though.
