OK, so I've been googling safety harnesses for travelling. There is the CARES harness for the plane, and I've found various harnesses to use in taxis etc (they're american.. so not sure they would even ship it to me here, as they don't meet our standards.. since we require actual seats/restraints for our kids here).

Does anyone use these? What's the go with kids 3 & under on planes? I keep reading that they should be in car restraints on the plane?? LOL - unless this is just an American/domestic thing over there??

We are going to Singapore, and I'm really uneasy using taxis without any kind of restraint for the kids, but there are some things we'll be doing that will just be easier to use taxis instead of public transport.

Anyone used any harnesses like these? I did have a thread before about one of the harnesses, but I've since read some not-so-great reviews on that one.

I dunno.. am I just being paranoid? LOL. Do the airlines have special seatbelts for littlies?

What do you do when travelling with young kids?
