If your council doesn't want any "organic waste/garden waste/recyclables in these bins" I'm guessing my council isn't far behind - so I'm guessing they will expect everyone to compost ...

Has anyone found effective methods for not getting nasties? Specifically wasps and bees ... but I guess anything which might get hurt, or hurt your property or pets - rats, mice, possums, undesirable neighbours, etc ... ?
