I had them a few times before kids and loved it we went to so many restuarants would not normally have gone too.

Not sure about getting 1 with kids so young if its worth it or not for us??? Is there much in book for out west??

Thanks for starting this thread. DS1s kinder bag was extra heavy today - turns out there was a book in there. I have to return it 'if i don't want it'. LOL. Good ploy kinder!

I've never bought one before but i'm going to flick through it now to see what's in it.

(I buy Coles and Woolies giftcards through my ABA membership and get 5% off too)

They're technically valid for 12 months, but you can start using them as soon as you get them so you usually get closer to 13 months or so out of them.

Lenny - that's a really good sales technique! I bet they trap a lot of people who intend to return the book but just never get around to it

Definitely worth it! Once you've used it 2-3 times it's paid for itself. Whenever we want to go out for dinner we just pick somewhere in the book. Many of our fave restaurants are in there and we've discovered lot of new faves too!

We always get one, some years get more use than others. I think they list the participating venues on the website, possibly

We find once we've used it a couple of times it pays for itself.
Agree! They're fantastic! We did use it a lot more pre-kids (we use to eat out a lot) but we still get a reasonable amount of use even with the kids on the scene. I just find we use the takeaway food and tourist attraction vouchers more so than the fine dining card
