    What Tupperware don't you use?

The FB tupperware group got me thinking about what tupperware I have but don't use that I could get rid of, but I realised I use all of it except for a host gift I got years ago - it is a big round red quiche form and its too big so I've never used it. And I have a lot of tupperware so I reckon I'm certainly getting my moneys worth out of it.

So what tupperware do you have that you don't use? Was it something you thought you'd use but then realised you wouldn't or are you like me and just aquired it?

Cake decorator. It's just not as good as I expected it to be.

That meat marinator thing - we bought it and then went vego not long after it arrived. We still use it, just not the way it was intended.

The Pick-a-deli - Apparently you can use it for olives, but we have a small fridge, and most olive jars are smaller than the actual container.

I think that's all. I got two mystery packs last year, so they're always hit and miss. Mostly hit.

Think outside the square. I make a pizza in my jelly mould, and I have seen black forest cake done in one too. I would never use mine for jelly LOL.

i think you ladies need to make a special "tupperware sale" thread... you could make some money...
im sure there are some of us that would buy your unwanted items.
just a thought... it could be an ongoing thread that people could add to anytime.

    pizza? HOW?! Please explain! LOL.

And can I also add...you are EVIL! I have spent the last hour looking at tupperware on ebay! LOL. I found so much stuff my Mum had and want... wishing I'd never let my brother take everything when Mum died.

Oh. And there are several of those rolling pins and matts on Ebay at the moment

I have all the vegetable keepers somewhere... I haven't used them in ages... yet I still keep all my jars in the drawers from when I did.

The deli stuff too.. Don't use that either. And I should.

    The foldable containers.

The stuff I use the most are the silver and black storage containers and the cake/slice ones. Oh and the rock and serves, and my microwavable jugs.

Oh wait... the most items I use are the peeler, garlic press, can opener and spatulas. LOVE THEM! Although lately my spatulas have been getting bendy.

I have a box that I got when I was 16 at the very first tupperware party I ever went to. It was like a kitchen starter kit. Think I only ever took out the measuring spoons and possibly cups from it LOL. Still in the back of my cupboard.

One thing I have that I rarely use is my microwavable 1ltr jug.

I actually use all of mine, my fridge is basically nothing but fridgesmart containers.

One thing I use rarely (but will never get rid of) is the old school rolling pin & rolling out mat. I know they don't make it anymore and I know Astrid got all excited when she saw it at my place.

I use my long narrow fridge smart containers all the time, they are the perfect size for holding all my d/w liquid, sponges, torch etc under my kitchen sink. And the round lettuce one is used pretty regularly to clean out the fish tank I could never get in to using them for their intended use anyways.

For over 2 years, 5 days a week though, DH and I take a salad to work for lunch in our square containers - clear bottoms with green lids and they are stackable and liquid tight. Have definitely got my money's worth. And the half a square one is great for keeping half an avocado green.

This has got me thinking now, I do actually think I use most of my tupperware, like others not always for what it was intended for.

The one thing I don't think I got my moneys worth with is that quick chef thing that is meant to whip cream, chop etc.

I got some tupperware about a year ago, but I haven't got around to using any of it yet ...

got some kids kitchen bits and pieces, and some things to keep my veggies fresh longer, and some little moulds ...

I'll get it all out of the box soon, but not today ...

Love my fridge smarts. I didn't believe they would work so I borrowed one & tested it out. Definitely works with bok choy!!

I don't use my picnic stuff. I mean to each time the season comes along but I just don't.
