wow does sound like everyone will be very busy christmas eve with trampolines!!.
I had a look at the one in the shop and I found that the net was really sturdy, seemed quite thick and secure.

Wow, thanks for this thread. To be honest, I thouht there was only two kinds. Springfree, and everything else. I would so love to get a trampoline for the kids from Santa. So I hope he chooses one that won't deteriorate quickly in the scorching sun!

I've been looking at Vuly but am wondering how the clips that go down the poles to hold the net hold up. It looks to me like they would rip easily.

Any feedback on how they hold up appreciated

We have Springfree and after 2 years it still looks new. The girls (6,4,2 yrs) all use it generally every day! I love how sturdy it is. I paid the extra (i think around $100 ish) for the delivery men to set it up which was the best money ever spent - they did it in 27 minutes and even gave us a demo!!

Rach, at the moment vuly have a deal where you get the tent free. I think we also got a ladder or a step of some kind too.
Getting excited about setting it up now. Lol!

How did everyone go putting up the trampolines for Christmas Day? We did it Christmas Eve after Miss3 went to sleep got the base and mat on but had to abort mission due to a crazy electrical storm. Finished it in the morning. We love our Vuly!

Took DH about 3 hours to put our Vuly up on Xmas Eve. He had to be a hero and do it on his own, despite my dad staying with us (men, lol!!). Our boys love it. I don't mind it either

Ha ha ha ha! He had to have three goes at getting the springs attached correctly to the frame. He fancies himself as such a DIY guy but the sad reality is he aint ... cos he rarely reads instructions. At least he tries Fortunately he eventually gets it right.

I did ours then got to the net & realised I had to put that on while I did the springs. I was so sore from pulling on & off bloody springs LOL
Plus I did in my neighbours yard so the kids wouldn't see it & then getting it over to our yard in the middle of the night with DH was a real laugh. I had to take the legs off & I saved putting the net poles on. But didn't factor in that 12 ft is actually pretty darn high so we got stuck under a tree. But managed to ram it under so I could do the net at 1 am ready for the morning LOL

with the humidity of cairns & 12am, laughing was all I could do. Best part was, DH took the kids out while I did it. The neighbours are away so I did it there thinking it was safest. DH didn't bring the kids home till it was dark & no one went out the back anyway. so it would have been safe to just do it at home LOL

The vuly is not the "springfree" brand but is completely safe as the springs are on the outside of the net and cannot be bounced on. I have my 3 buoy in there and it's very safe. We are still loving it lol
