stay away from tiles - we have a pale grey - they show the dirt easily, they crack and the grout comes up - we are now looking to replace all our tiles with wooden floor boards. and forgot to say, unless it's 40 degrees they are cold and hard to walk on and you always need slippers - and kids never want to wear slippers - okay, sorry for the rant, as you can tell tiles are not my fave.
