Congratulations ree! That's wonderful news I'm very happy for you and your family, welcome to the world Seth! :)
Beatrix hoping you haven't got much longer hun, sounds promising.
Congratulations Ree! Knew you weren't far off! DD1 was a successful (and uneventful) HB transfer. Sounds like you all did an awesome job for your little (big) guy :)
Bea, exciting!! Things might kick along sooner rather than later after all.
Huge Congratulations Ree!!!
Goodluck Bea, sounds like bubby is not far away x
Congratulations ree! I have been following, so for the lack of posts to support you. I'm so happy you went into labour naturally. Sounds like you put in one amazing effort. Stoked for you xxx
Bea, Im waiting for your news :)
Afm, entered 2nd tri a couple of weeks ago. Very thankful not to be feeling so unwell anymore. I never really got sick with my previous pregnancies, but this one was pretty horrible. Still undecided if I'm going to go with government funded or with an IM. Going to be meeting a couple of IMs over the next couple of weeks and see how I go meshing with them. I'm not too stressed though, still early days.
My homebirth water baby just had his first birthday a few weeks back, still can't believe it's been over a year since his amazing birth. I can't wait to do it again!
ahh dont get your hopes up ladies!!
Still having bloody discharge but more brown the red, and lots of tightenings and pressure but nothing else. Had a feel of my own cervix and very soft, puffy and squishy.. not tight at all so thats promising, but being 4th baby could just be normal LOL. still could be a few weeks.
Lou- wow one now! thats awesome, glad you ms is going.
Congrats Ree! Well done on all your efforts to bring Seth earthside when he was ready. Rest up and hope you recover quickly.
Congratulations Ree!!!!

Congratulations ree*ree, glad to hear your body went into spontaneous labour. And glad you made all the right decisions to get your little Seth earth bound.
Beatrix good luck, hopefully means your body is getting prepared for an awesome labour.
Starting to get more real looking at that list, slowly but surely getting closer to the top.
Congratulations Ree on the arrival of your baby boy!

There's my naptime reading sorted for today!
Posted in your other thread Eenee, but I'll say it again - hope all is well with you and the little one. Let us know how things are.
Beatrix - how are you doing?
Eenee- thinking of you Hun.
This waiting game is slightly frustrating!! I think it maybe because I never had to play it before. With my 3 previous pg I had a end date by now.
But in saying that I'm doing well, house is spotless every night before I go to bed I make sure my birthing area is good to go lol. I feel pretty relaxed and well. I had my midwife app on Wednesday and my BP had slightly risen so fingers crossed next Wednesday it stays under 130/95 or it means hospital monitoring.
Still losing my plug daily, lots of pressure but no painful anything.
My midwife is a Mum! Her baby boy was born at home yesterday. Can't wait to meet him and hear how it all went. Very little as he was about 37 weeks and she's just a little thing too.
Oh I need to update!
Archie was born at home on Wednesday 20th March at 6.35pm weighing 3.45kgs. After the birth I had to transfer for retained placenta and a second degree tear which required me going under a general for manual removal and stitches. I checked myself out the following afternoon (against medical advice) and back into the care of my amazing midwife.
I'm still processing my birth. Yes I gave birth naturally, at home, as planned. But the pain was something I never could have planned for. Calmbirth went out the window and I really struggled. 10 hour labour, starting with contractions 6 minutes apart, waters broke after 2 hours, then I was having 90 second contractions every 2 minutes. Very intense. I pushed for four hours in the water before having to get out of the pool at the last minute due to heavy bleeding from my tear and have birth o the floor on my back. Then a hospital transfer and surgery not long after.
Each day it gets easier when I retell if go through it in my mind, but it will take me a long time to feel good about it I think!
Sorry to hear things didn't go according to plan. Hopefully you can go through it in your head and debrief a bit to work through. It's still possible to have a traumatic hb, and with that comes therapy and healing. After all that, I hope you're healing well and enjoying your babymoon as much as possible. And congrats on the arrival of your little prince.
