Another lurker creeps out of the woodwork......
Just beautiful Meow! Absolutely beautiful. What a lovely gift you have made for gorgeous Felix.
You have inspired me to do something with my homebirth photos of DS. DS2 was born at 3am so his photos aren't as clear.
Thanks for sharing such a special and intimate event with us.
that was amazing meow
hehe another lurker here! :hide:
Meow - that was so amazing, thanks for sharing! I agree with Mel, that shot of the two boys together at the end is just stunning. Best. Pic. Ever.
Haven't seen it yet meow but I'm super excited to now! Lol @ all the lurkers, :hello:
Haha! Just saw my midwife & we talked about the montage... I had wondered about including the final stage of pushing with the whole "push harder" bit. My poor midwife is a little mortified! I should say that is the ONLY time I had any directed pushing and it was because his shoulders weren't coming out and she was concerned as they should have been moving even a little with my pushes. I may edit the clip though because it does give the impression of coached pushing which I didnt have through the rest of the labour.
Meow, the tea arrived! I LOVED the envelope, you rock!! (She addressed it to The Birthing Goddess :D :D ) Thankyou!
meow, I didn't really even notice that. The only dialogue that stood out for me was the: Is it out?
things are happening here...
(sssshhhhh nothing on FB)
:leap:

MadB- the "is it out" comments were the bits I liked... summed up my frustration & eagerness to have baby out by that point. I also like that I'm not screaming like I thought
Which hospitals in Vic are doing public funded homebirths currently?

Anyhoo - Congrats Em (again!!) I think the name is lovely that you chose for your princess :D Can't wait to read your birth story.
So now that Em and Tegam have birthed theirs - who is next in line?
YOU! :p
Nah we must be waiting on someone else? I don't really count after all cos mine is a house birth :(
pfft, semantics.
Me :)
I knew there was someone else - just someone who doesn't pop her head in here often enough to remind me :p
So you have a honeydew in there - what is it at full term?
A perfectly round watermelon pmsl
I don't mind watermelon so much, just hope it is a nice long elliptical one, not a sphere! lol
Let's hope it's not sideways too
Ouch to sideways!
Baby is head down here - already better at this gestation than DD2 was!!!
lol yes! Let's!
Bubs downward here, thankfully anterior too, unlike Charlotte... so all good.
*mwah* you guys are also so close! i cannae believe it! I have all these warm and fuzzies...and no, it aint from the heat lol!
i was (again) thinking back to Marta's birth today...ahhh how i wish i had a time-machine and could go through that joy again....ah well, for the annals of history and memory!
I was just checking out my notes from my appointment with Anna and it says the part about how the baby is presenting - it says "ROA - ceph at brim" I know the ceph is the cephalic (sp?) presentation which is good - but whats the ROA?
