Gasp! Shock! Horror! Birth… at home? They are for sure going to kill their bundle of joy… I certainly hope you can tell my heavy sarcastic tone with that one. Bravo for Owen Wilson and mystery woman Jade Duell for choosing a natural home birth for the delivery of their baby due any day now!
The couple was quoted as saying they want the most natural experience as they possibly can have, and some sources close to them have added their plan includes giving birth at Wilson’s Maui home.

The parents, like many who choose to give birth at home, wanted the best possible birth in a peaceful setting.

According to The Stir:
“Jade and Owen were both on the same page when they decided to have the baby at home,” a source told Star magazine. “They wanted a calm, quiet, soothing atmosphere for their boy. It was very important to Owen that the birth be Zen-like, because now he’s all about tranquility being the key to a healthy life.”
They will join a growing list of celebrities choosing to give birth at home, which in recent years have included:

Ricki Lake
Gisele Bundchen
Eryka Badu
Kelly Preston & John Travolta
Pamela Anderson
Ani DiFranco
And many more!

Awesome. Not surprised and Owne Wilson is very zen, especially since his suicide attempt. Hopefully a popular celeb like himself will just help in normalizing homebirth for everyone

Just an update to this, they birthed their little boy, at home in water after an 18 hour labour. Bub weighed 6lb 13 ounces.
