Hi all

Just wondered if anyone else is in the same boat, or has been there...

My DD (2 in March) has been on 2 bfs a day for months, morning and night, at her demand and has been happy as happy with this. She eats like a pig (seriously, more than us at some meals) and drinks plenty of water during the day.

Suddenly in the last few weeks she has started asking for 'boobie' all of the time! Since I haven't been giving her any other feeds I've been trying to distract her with a drink/treat and this worked for a couple of times until she 'wised up' and now she gets upset!

I don't know what to do. I know the 'don't offer, don't refuse', but since she's not really had any other feeds for so long I don't particularly want to get back into a frequent feeding pattern again. I have always been infant/child-led for feeding and will be for weaning so I feel bad when I say no!

I'm hoping this is just a phase/developmental milestone, since she's also started talking a lot in about the same time period.

Did anyone else have this and what did you do?
