Talking Doing a happy dance - THREE MONTHS!!

I have to share today how proud I am of myself & my little girl... We have made it to three months breastfeeding today

I had no goals or expectations, just that I wanted to breastfeed this time round, so three months is monumentous for us. We had some dramas to start with, with one of my nipples being overly sensitive (still is a bit now, but tolerable). I thought of giving up 100 times because of the pain that no-one could do anything about but we kept going. I will admit that it was for selfish reasons - I wasn't able to conceive naturally or give birth to her naturally so I wanted to give her *something* We're still on two hourly feeds, so it is tough, but we're managing ok

As I look at my chubby little munchkin sitting in the high chair watching me & chatting away to herself I can't help but marvel at what I have done. People comment on her chubby cheeks all the time & that's all because of ME!! I'm so proud that I could do this for my baby girl

Here's to the next three months.......

yay, just think if this is how fast the last 3 mnths the next 3 mnths will fly by. Another plus is that b/f only gets easier from here in my expereince. It is great that you persisted through your troubles it is a testament to your determination & strength.

BTW what is selfish about giving her something that is soo good for her ?!
