Hey Melissa,
My DS was BLW and he LOVES his fruit but he is a bit fussy about his veges when on their own. I tend to make creamed corn muffins and just put grated veges in them. He will eat veges if they are with other items of food just not when on their own. Same as with the spagetti mince i tend to grate some carrot and add peas and corn to it so i know he gets some veges. He will also eat them in stews, stirfry's etc if they have sauce and flavour on them.

as for the amount? Lol i have no idea.. alot use to end up on the floor (and still does at 16 months) I use to worry that he wasnt getting enough but if he didnt want anymore food he would just keep throwin stuff on the floor, so i just hope he knows when he is full! lol perhaps as a guide.. he would eat maybe three (4cm round) small chicken mince meatballs and a few tastes of some pumpkin or potato mash at that age?

I read somewhere once you have to offer a food up to 10 times before knowing if a child really wont eat it or not? to get through the whole weird looking new food thing. not sure where i read that tho.. so could be complete rubbish!
