Question BF bub - reflux after starting solids?

We are having horrible nights with DS at the moment. He generally wakes for a feed/s and then goes straight back to sleep, he has done this since birth, we've never had to settle him at night or had him awake for any length of time.

The last few nights he is randomly waking, crying and crying and it's taking us forever to settle him back to sleep, only to have him wake again.

In the last week, he has also vomited (I mean proper spew, not posseting) 3 times. The first time was pretty full on, spew everywhere (sorry, TMI...). He did it again last night while eating his dinner.

He started solids at 6 months. Up until the last week, he was having 2 meals a day, breakfast and lunch, but this week I've given him lunch most days too (either fruit or vegies).

We were discussing this with his GP today who suggested that he might be eating too much at night and it could be causing reflux - anyone ever heard of this? I thought reflux only occurred in younger babies and generally after drinking milk?

Hun, I have to dash, so this will just be quick....

Although DS did have reflux as a young bub, it also reappeared recently for a month or so. Try propping L's cot up at the head end, about the height of the yellow pages. It certainly helps DS.

Will try to come back later......
