Baby led attachment?

What is it, who does it and where can I get some information?

I have been advised that this might be good for me to read up about while I'm pg given the attachemnt issues I had with DS.

Typing 1 handed so bear with the errors! Basically it is allowing skin to skin contact and letting bub attach themselves without a midwife shoving nipple into their mouth.... the way I was told to do it was to put bubs head between my boobs and just lt him sniff the and nuzzle and then when he is ready he would aim his head left or right and attach!! I had a c/s so the way I did it was to lie on my side andwe gently positioned him near my niplle - he shook his head and nuzzle for around 15 mins then finally opened his mouth and sucked.... it was much slower and gentler than with Izzy when the midwife waited for an open mouth and did the head jammed to nipple manouvere. If you youtube it there are some great videos too hun. Back later when i have 2 hands!!!
